Online Therapy

So why online therapy?

It’s been proven that children learn best in their natural environments – and so do adults.

Now more than ever, it is a convenient way for people to meet in a way that eliminates many barriers that make it difficult in the first place.

Things that can cause anxiety – like traffic, driving time, parking hassles, and traditional waiting rooms – are no longer issues. And if you don’t drive, it does away with needing to find rides – you can do it all from the comfort of your home.

In my state? Then we can work together.

The provider is on the other side of the state – no problem with an Internet connection, you’ll share a screen rather than a traditional office.

You may live in a remote area and not have access to the kind of care you need. Meeting virtually gives you options to secure exactly the type of therapist that can help you.

So practical!

Rather than ensuring you have everything for a day out of the house, all you need for a session of online therapy is a stable Internet connection and a screen (your phone, computer, tablet, etc.). You can do this from anywhere you feel comfortable. If you have roommates, some people like to go outside or even sit in their car (not driving, of course!).

Where you hold your session with me tells me more about you. It provides a backdrop to your situation that I can’t get if you’re in my office.

The possibilities are numerous, and online therapy is much more flexible than in a traditional office setting.

We can see each other and get you the help you need.

Don’t put off seeking therapy because of inconvenience, COVID, children, or other factors that hinder in-person therapy.

Working via online therapy has proven to be just as effective as in-person, except for severe addiction or trauma.
